John Campbell is a film composer and electronic musician originally from Northern California. Growing up on a ranch in Lincoln, technology and music played a pivotal role in his formative years. At 28, John moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for film composition, studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he learned synthesis from Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails.

After graduating, John taught at the Musicians Institute for 2.5 years and composed music for several feature films and movie trailers. He now focuses on creating ambient, meditative music using modular synthesis, exploring big sounds and movements with a focus on sound healing. This new chapter in his musical journey has been his most rewarding and inspiring yet
